here the previous lighter version [link]So.. I said no more selfportraits... yesterday.. and here you are another one.. I am always so very coherent.
This was taken in my room... I wish I had a different floor but.. uh
A vertical panorama assembled in photoshop, done with tripod
what else.. the flute is mine, as you can see by the.. uhm.. RUST.. is not in good conditions.. I've not played to much in the last.. 3 years Β°_Β°

if you want to have a print of this.. please just send me a note. deviantart doesnt print panoramas so I'll send you it by myself.
This can be printed to 100cm/40inc in the long side in very good resolution... so... 1 meter or more (or less of course)... it will cost less than deviantart prints

very interesting photo, the choice of sepia suits it really well.
I think however the position of the leggs brakes everything a little bit, ofcourse it isn't the key feature of the photo but it draws attention because it is centered in a dark area and bright legs, so it drew my attention.

It's really quite hard to choose which I prefer, honestly; this one is beautiful with the lighting and colour, however, the darker one just has something about it that makes me love it too.
This piece means a bit more than something like this normaly would, because I've been playing flute for a few years now, and I love everything about the instrument. The way the songs are across the floor like that is just..
I noticed, at closer inspection, that the flute is seperated differently than mine, which is awesome. I'm curious.. what songs in particular were on the floor for that.. if you remember?

I prefer this one to darker one. It has more of an haunting look to it, with the delicate lighting. It's very nicely done though. I love the music spread out on the floor. After seven years playing in a school band, this is a very familiar sight.

I like the darker verison better, it adds more emotion. I find the background a bit distracting, the way you can see the silhouettes of the objects behind the sheet. Other than that, I love the idea and the music sheets do a good job of leading the eye to the subject. Lovely!

I haven't seen you around for quite a while now, but i suppose that it did worth waiting for...as your last two deviations are simply beautiful! In the mean time, to my biggest surprise i've found you in jesiel's gallery! Wicked gallery and amazing shot! Yes there's bits and pieces to pick on...but over all they're all within your style and have that sort of thing that always appeals, although you can't really put your finger on it! And if it makes you feel better about it, then i'll lie to you and say that i preffer this one! Either way, keep them coming, as you've been mised!

A fantastic piece. But I enjoy the darker version more...in a picture that is already so contrasted by darks and lights, I think its kind of contradictory to even them out. The darker version is good because you can see the notes on the papers more easily, and the skin of the model contrasts better against her dark clothing.
This is really well done, but as I said, use the darker version, I think its much superior.
