I cant believe I did this again. damn stupid style. please dont tell me it's dark (I mean goth) or I can get nervous. please dont say the shadows on my face are wrong. I wanted them to be exactly as they areI hope it's one of my last selfportraits. I'll start working with models. time to be "serious"

Very well done - The concept with the mirror tears really works. The tones of your make up togehter with the light and the other tones are brilliant together.

Once i was talking to her and i said: i really like goth girls!
she replied: i'm not goth, i'm CΓ‘tia ( that's her name ).
And i agree completely, i don't like dividing anything into genres and categories.
So the photo is dark, and also perfect.
I couldn't take my eyes off it for some time.

There are lots of photos of eyes on DA, but this is one that really stands out to me. The colors in this are just marvelous. There are so many and they all work so beautifully together. And I don't think the lighting and shadows could be more perfect. I love how the shards of mirror are in the shadows, but the light still hits them and illuminates them so beautifully. There's a really cold reality and sharpness to this piece, but it also has such elegance.

It's an impressive piece of work, especially for being photography...you usually only see something like this drawn by a fantasy artist.
And it doesn't look remotely goth.

Beautifully done -- and there's nothing wrong with some dark emotions sometimes. The mirrored tears is genius. And the red lips make it seem anything but Goth to my mind. The cropping is tight and creates a tense feeling... Excellent work.

oh, and as said there... the only "dark" or so thing in your pic is the feeling... everything else is so not "goth" .... i mean... bronze makeup? green-blue eyes instead of black? and your face is definetly NOT white xD

I get pissed when someone tells me what i've been wanting to do is "wrong" how could art be "wrong"?
Who has got the authority to say how a feeling must be expressed? or what were you exactly trying to express?
