Hey! Looks like the new toy inspiration wave is over and I'm back to taking pictures of my old figures. Of course, I'll still take pictures of Gaim, but I want to get back to some of my other favorite characters. So anyway, for this shot I wanted to shoot Anubis holding out his morpher as if he's about to arrest whoever's behind the camera. I tried to take this picture using light painting but it didn't really work out. I think it's because I used the Lume Cube instead of my phone which I did for the Kamiki Blazing picture. I didn't think to use my phone, so I set my camera to candlelight mode and set the brightness low. You might also be wondering "hey, is that bokeh?" and the answer is yes. Some of you may remember that on my first Gaim post I mentioned that my camera doesn't go to really high shutter speeds, making it hard to capture bokeh. How did I do this? That's just dust on the lens, however when I was shooting I still thought it looked cool and decided to keep it rather than clean it. During the editing process it was hard to choose between this one and another shot I'll also be posting. I ended up choosing this one to edit because the morpher was less blurry, making it easier to edit in the lights on top. I've probably rambled too much, so I'll just let you enjoy the photo now.
