Note: I've decided to base Dusty in its Reallife form , the plane that closely resembles him.
realistically if you have to convert this model into a Racer you have to replace the piston engine with a turbine engine.
then change the whole wing structure to a high speed semantically airfoil and maybe shorten the span a little.
and drop the agriculture equipment. use the tank as extra fuel space. the canopy may need to be alter to improve aerodynamic flow

I had no interactions I didn't even see the movie having had to rebuild the sea duck about 6 times to get it to work right, made interior she sin her original concept config now w as cargo/transport bird. scaled it to another comparable sl aircraft it seems kinda hug but most sl men are like 8 feet tall. then again can down size it since it fer personal use just if they ride in the back head stick through the roof.

still the wings needs to be change for aerodynamic reasons but it was a fun concept of getting the least likely airframe of choice for racing.

yeah most planes do not go through such radical modification for air racing this is rather nimble bird, and really really strong airframe there is military spec close air support version that carries nearly the same payload a A10 can. Wow something uglier than an A10 and cheaper to operate, and nearly as deadly. Lotoof pilot love it cause you can fly it int the ground and often till walk away There even a air bag system available for crash protection
