Description
My first go at drawing on coloured paper, had no idea what I was doing, but it seems to have turned out ok.3 hours, 14x21cm, grey paper.
Derwent pastel pencils and prismacolor pencils.

This looks so much like Angelina Jolie. Nice work with the coloured paper, btw. Glasses done with that method always turn out great.

This is good but I promise you'll do even better if you draw from life instead of a photo.
What I mean to say is,your three dimensional modeling and volumetric form as indicated by the natural light will give a more convincing portrayal than copying a photograph. You obviously have excellent observational skills (one can't draw what one can't see). Can't wait to see the results of your work when it's based on DIRECT OBSERVATION...
Damn good results for a first run at chalk and colored paper.
