Some fan art I made of Stranger Thing's Eddie Munson, being a total badass hero.
The likeness could have been better, but it proved to be rather difficult to really get the composition + quality I liked. Overall, I think this piece had the most emotion, and a good style. I am currently experimenting with the new v4 model, and one early remark is that style is something v4 has some difficulty with. Another is that quality is not great yet; the resolution is only 1024x1024, and some results are extremely blurry / low-resolution. These are all things the team at Midjourney are aware of, and will definitely improve over time. It's wonderful being this close to cutting-edge technology! Overall, I'm having a blast trying out the new algorithm, and especially for this piece, the power of v4 shone. While I wasn't able to make the likeness perfect, this was all done with a relatively naturally structured prompt, without using any reference to Eddie Munson or Joseph Quinn. It was able to coherently understand many parts of the prompt, something v3 and the other test algorithms seriously struggled with (it would take one part of your prompt, but then completely ignore another part, or just merge those together).
