I only have one big critique.
The front left leg is bending too high up on the leg, and too sharply. You could probably fix that very easily, just cut the leg out and move it down to where it needs to be, and continue the lineart up to the body, and color in the new part of the leg.
Good expression though- reminds me of Kay's characters in the eyes.

Wow, that's a really interesting video! I love learning about the process. Just watching this one video exposed me to some really useful tricks that I had never thought of before -- not that I'm an artist to speak of, but just amazed at what you can do to fairly easily fix mistakes and make minor adjustments if you think something's off. The whole resizing thing you did to get the proportions right was .. so easy, and obvious, yet just never gave it much thought. Figured artists always got the proportions exact every time from the get-go, even with perspective shots.
Though I'm sure it's still far from easy, now I feel less daunted, thank you.
One question: in one part, you selected his head separate from his body -- how did you do that? It didn't seem to be on another layer, and it went by too fast to see which tool you used. I'm guessing just an edge-select kinda deal, but you isolated the head pretty easily (even given the time compression). So, I'm curious.

The coolest thing about the tutorial itself is that at the end the music perfectly fits the drawing. I can't tell you why... It just feels like the two are meant to be together. It enhances the emotions.
