Beautiful choice of tones. Similar to the ones in your other two submissions. Good constrast between the lone tree in the foreground and the many trees in the background. Those trees are a lot lighter, by the way. Is that the way it came out? Or is it an intentional photomanip? Oh, and reflections always help of course. The chain is interesting, as a matter of fact i find the overall choice of subject interesting and well-picked. I don't find it dark or depressing, nor serene or melancholic. In fact, it has very little emotional impact on me, and this might be the only shortcoming of this photograph. But, as i said before, we all use our eyes and mind in our own way, when looking at each other's creations.
