That's how all the legendary fights are really. I noticed when I watched Mewtwo Strikes Back and 2000. They must be keeping the power to themselves so as not to destroy the world.
But I saw the episode and If memory serves me right, they had some shiny stiff feather that was stolen. Darkrai popped up and wrecked shit, and then he died back in the ground. The End.
