Description

Nothing too exciting here; I was just messing about the other day, and thought it'd be cool to draw Olga Discordia using some of the magic she's so well-known for. The idea here is that she's about halfway through casting a fireball, which initially manifests as a small ember in between her hands. While I neglected a lot of the detail on her clothing, I did have an absolute blast drawing her hands—Which is a weird statement to make, since I usually think of drawing hands as a humongous pain in the ass. I guess the foreshortening really did it for me.

The lighting, too, was interesting here. Since she's holding the light source in her hands, it'd only make sense that he entire face should be illuminated, rather than being oddly shadowed, as if there was an object between her face and her hands.

Either way, though, this was a learning experience that I certainly had a lot of fun with. I'm looking forward to spending some more time drawing more Kuroinu characters and/or OCs.
