The chant was loud and clear at the stadium. The atmosphere was more live than the Scalextric track built at Brooklands, UK in 2009. The Idabel City Indigoes were playing against the Rockford Reds, and winning well. During the halftime, out came the mascot, Iggy Idabel the Husky.

Along with him was the Idabel Indigoes Cheerleader Squadron. "Ready, ok!" the cheer began. "We've got spirit, yes we do! We've got spirit, how 'bout you! Red and yellow, pink and green, we're the best darn team you've ever seen! 1, 2, 3, 4, who do you so much adore! Go, Indigoes!"

The stadium went wild with cheering and applause as the game shot back into action. At the end of the day, the game went into sudden overtime. The players were getting tired, but after a quick drink, out came the cheer team.

"Ready, ok! Those Reds are tough, yes sirree! But we've got team spirit, yippity yee! 1, 2, 3, 4! We will win this game and more! Go, Indigoes!" That settled it, they were ready. Up came Annabelle (www.deviantart.com/sywilliamsi… ) to the plate.

The pitcher of the Reds fired a fastball. She saw it coming, with a whoosh, she swung. The air was silent for a second, and suddenly..*CRACK, whoosh!* The fastball was shot into the air. The announcer spoke, "It's going, it's going...It's gone!!! Indigoes win, 10 to 4!"

The stadium was alive with joy, and out came the cheer team. "Ready, ok! 1, 2, 3, 4! We've won the battle and made them sore! Those Rockford Reds, they've got no chance! We've given them a darn good dance! Yay, Indigoes!" The crowd cheered in rapture and joy. "RAH! RAH! RAH! GO GO INDIGOES!"
