Made for the X-tended Mod (XTC) for the game X3: Terran Conflict

Ingame Background:
Realizing that their forces can't be present everywhere, the Split High Council demanded a sector defense vessel. One of the many requirements was that it was of compact size for ease of redeployment and the possibility to upgrade the design with links, to be able to connect multiple vessels into an array for superior firepower. According to rumors there is a concept for a special carrier that is supposed to transport multiple platforms while keeping them fully operational at all times.
