Background: Kosviu's family died relatively early when he was still a small tiefling. He was raised by the clerics of the Loviatar, but did not want to spend his life in the temple and left when he was old enough. Because of his demonic appearance, he was shunned by society. From a young age, he also showed a natural affinity for magic and spent most of his time learning spells. As he grew older, he became fascinated with the goddess Loviatar, who was known for her love of pain and suffering. He thought she was a misunderstood deity and became obsessed with finding a way to communicate with her.
