For once in her life, Cicilia had chosen to be proactive rather than reactive. After that fight with Elena, there was only one logical step to take! Cicilia had set up a match between herself and Sakura Hagiwara, the star from Berserk, aiming to test her luck against the current #1 star if she did so well against the #2.

...And it didn't take long for her match to be accepted! Hell, from what her manager was telling her, Sakura seemed pretty excited to face her and had accepted as soon as she saw it! ...Something about that made the German smile. It was like she had stepped into another world where she could actually enjoy her matches, a world where both parties could walk away with mutual respect for one another as fighters... and as people. Even now, Cicilia could remember when all she knew as hatred, anger and paranoia, always expecting the shoe to drop after a match when some fragile women would corner her with her cronies in the locker room. It didn't happen often, but the marks those encounters left had lasted... and the scarred beast had learned to be fearsome and unapproachable, to scare off freakshows before they got... nasty.

...But things were different now and she didn't really know why... The day Yumi came into her life, her fortune kinda... flipped. Kindness from strangers was very rapidly replacing the hostility she had come to expect, her heart, once clasped in iron, now open and free. She felt like a PERSON again... GOD, it had been so long... It was like stepping out into a nice, cool breeze after being locked in an oven for half your life!

...Heaven.

Cicilia treasured that epiphany right up until the assigned date for their match, the German coming to the locker-room a few minutes early, hoping to catch Sakura before their fight. Indeed, just as before, she was lucky enough to find her opponent readying herself for the fight ahead, catching her posing in the mirror as if just about to practice her signature backflip kick! Cicilia cocked an eyebrow at her attire, but she wasn't too bothered. Now that she'd already seen its ilk once before, Cicilia concluded that there really wasn't much wrong with Sakura and Elena's style of attire. After all, she'd seen much more revealing things in her time fighting... why should she care about this?

"Hey." Cicilia greeted, leaning against one of the lockers. Sakura froze, then turned to face Cicilia! Her eyes were wide, a small blush of embarrassment flashing across her cheeks, but a small smile quickly bloomed upon her lips as she realized who it was!

"Oh! Cicilia, right?" Sakura greeted, walking right up to the wolf! "It's good to meet you! I'm Sakura Hagiwara!"

Cicilia smiled a little wider, taking her pleasant demeanor in stride.

"Likewise, Sakura. I just wanted to see you before the match. Wish you good luck."

Sakura's smile grew as she reached out, taking Cicilia's hand and shaking it before the German even knew what was happening!

"You too! Hey, maybe we can even train together sometime!"

"I... I'd like that." Cicilia grinned, giving Sakura's arm a firm shake back. "...I hope you're ready, though. I'm no pushover!"

"Okay! I'm not either!" Sakura responded, a competitive edge flashing across her eyes! "Lets do our best!"

"Right." Cicilia agreed!

DING!

Sakura DASHED at Cicilia INCREDIBLY quickly, closing the distance between them at least TWICE as fast as Cicilia herself could have! The wolf, however, did not move, having learned from her fight with Elena. She was content to wait and let Sakura come to her... If she could track her movements just right, she could...

Sakura raised her hands, aiming to COLLIDE into Cicilia with a grapple, only for Cicilia's hands to SHOOT UP and grab hers, their fingers intertwining as the German PUSHED into her in a test-of-strength! Instantly, Sakura's arms BURNED as she pushed back, feeling her body almost give way under the immediate retaliation of the Grey Wolf!

...But she did not buckle, not at first.

"Heh... Not a lot of people can stand their ground against me." Cicilia smirked, LOOMING over Sakura as she now started to push DOWN on her! Sakura let out a YELP as she fell to one knee, her arms trembling against Cicilia's as did her BEST to fight back...

...But it just wasn't enough!

"Come on! Show me what Berserk's finest can do!"
