Description Klaus Störtebeker was a famous pirate of the late 14th to early 15th century.
Later on he became a kind of folk hero in northern germany, similar to Robin Hood.

I just felt like moving him and his fellows in an up to date context, so I made this cover for a fictional comic book.

The language in the text is an old german dialekt.

"Godes vrende unde al der werlt vyande" means: God´s friend and alle the world´s enemy.

His ship was called "De röde Düvl", the red devil.
