Description
Something that spun out of that drawing of April in some psudeo-Chinese outfit. BG cheerfully stolen from NASA.If yo don't know what Genbu is, you either didn't watch Fushigu Yuugi, or aren't very friendly with asian mythology in the first place. There was a reference in a book I'm reading recently about Leonardo being kinda like Xuan Wu (Genbu)
Check out the Kylie Chan Series, book 1 White tiger,
brilliant trilogy with a lot of Chinese mythology tied in with an addictive story plot.

Yet, you pulled it off flawlessly. I love the nebula-ish background, too. :0) Very, very cool, m'dear.
My daughter has a BA in art, emphesis on teaching, and although she's rather uninterested in my TMNT fetish, she really liked your versions. Everytime I would go, "Oh, ya have t'see this one!" and she'd actually come over and look.

That aside, I love the colors! Especially the lighted beads around his neck: I really like the combined effect of a shiny surface and a soft glow of eminating light.
The detail on the linework is excellent, too...
