I don't think the staff cares. They had to have heard. I'm going to try and enjoy this last week of the good site.

It's already viewer-unfriendly for people w/o an account, why make it user-unfriendly!?
Please join in the boycott by not using or viewing DA May 1-3!

I don't want to leave, but I hate the fact that the last website I felt comfortable with is forcing this on people.
I hope the staff will listen to us, and keep it optional, at least.
I don't hold it against people for using the site during the boycott, and I'll stick around in some fashion regardless, but I'm definitely going to try move my busiest hub to another site as soon as possible if this is made mandatory.

Oh what a surprise. I just tried to submit this to the 'Deviantart suggestions' category, but for some reason it's not working right now.
And their announcement of Eclipse becoming mandatory didn't allow comments either. I wonder why.
Gosh dang it DA- if you don't listen to your community, how will it continue to be one?
What are you doing, anyway? I've not heard of a single user that wants this!
