I'm still experimenting. Of course. In this one I'm reusing an old comic book backing board thats about 7 inches by 10.5 inches. I am drawing with a Staedtler Mars tecnico w/ 4B carbon lead as my base/sketch layer. That part starts as an automatic drawing which I slowly start to pull elements out of. Then I go over that with an unbranded watercolor graphite pencil. Finally (for now anyway) I go over that with a size 0 wet brush as a way of inking tone and smoothing out the roughness of pencils. I may add a black and then white ink layer and/or perhaps take the experiment further and hybridize this thing into a cyborg by bringing it into my drawing software and creating the next layers there...
