Description
Working on a manga project with ~Aaureole-Complexion means we sort of have to learn each others' method of drawing.I scanned in some pictures for her as a step by step example of my drawing method.
Well, I thought since I've already scanned them why put them to waste right?
So here's my first shoddy attempt at a guide/tutorial. It's more just an outline of how I personally draw than a tutorial... but beginner anime artists may find it helpful...?
Anyway, I'm no professional so don't be too harsh on me... XD

You should know, I bought one of those wooden mannequins from Wal*Mart and on the wrapper thing it said 'This mannequin is especially made for those who are just learning the human anatomy. Its proportion is just like that of a human's and it makes every motion that humans do. It teaches you how to shade...' and so on. You know that an anime figure is like a human figure of course, and it said that it'll make every movement that a person makes... 8ULL$41T! It didn't show me any movement... ANYWAY... awesome tutorial

Ahhh yes well... that could be a problem hehe... well this is really just a quick basic outline guide. I suggest you try copying other peoples' drawings to start off with.
And try figure out anatomy proportions in stick figure form... you have to be able to start somewhere so yeah... just try the most basic things XD
I also suggest polykarbon.com tutorials which are quite good for beginners.

not bad, teabag. :B your technique could be refined a little, but at least you use some sort of construction. I'm impressed.

Haha, thanks ^__^
Yeah, actually there's a lot of things I'm not happy about. Needs a lot of work still!

you'll get there soon enough. just practice. Honestly, it's purely mechanic. keep working on refining your construction technique.

I always find it amazing that tutorials such as these make it sound so simple, Yeah just do a quick skeleton and then ..... Hah!!! I will give it a go though. Getting a little bored of stick figures but it's so easy just admiring other artists work that you run out of time to do anything yourself *** goes to clock and winds back an hour *** Good drawing btw and y she is pretty.

Ah yeah, I've been using the skeleton for ages, so I'm pretty used to it. When I was younger I never used it, but now it sort of feels awkward drawing a full body without it... XD
