Description:
---------------
The Longfin-class corvette was developed concurrently with the Swordfish-class, with the intention of serving as a versatile multi-purpose warship, as well as a leader for corvette groups. However, similar to the Swordfish and Stingray-class light corvettes, it fell significantly short of expectations. Despite its shortcomings, the Longfin-class played a crucial role in the ongoing development of UFSN warships.
The ship displayed significant deficiencies across various aspects, particularly in terms of maneuverability and the performance of its rather inefficient weaponry, which was mainly derived from defensive armaments commonly found on modern armed merchant vessels.
Although classified as a "full" corvette, the Longfin-class is really just a heavier light corvette and is treated as such by the Navy. It primarily operates alongside its only slightly lighter sister classes in the same roles.
