A simple energy pistol based on the EP-36.
It is highly resistant against overheating and only very lightly recoiling primarily because the generated burst is not particulary powerful and the gun so sturdily build and heavy. The compressed particle burst generated by this pistol has a slightly higher effective range than the EP-36 but quite unremarkable stopping power. It possesses good penetrative capabilities and is very accurate for a handgun. In fact the performance of the EP-37's blast is pratically identical to that of the odler EP-27 except for its capability to fire twice as many shots before needing to be reloaded and the increased effective range.
The EP-37 is a high quality gun and rather expensive for what it is, its main selling points are that it uses AAC developed high quality rechargable batteries with a very long service life, it's excellent accuracy for a gun of its size and its extremely sturdy construction. It is primarily appreciated by target shooters and small game hunters but has gained some limited popularity with shooters looking for a defensive handgun.
