Yeah, it's not what I was supposed to be working on but this definitely helped me get back into drawing mood.
For our online roleplaying group. To the left, Lady Neko, an enigmatic totem spirit who accompanies - to the right - Sephot, one of the last shapechanging Kyphur cats. Sephot's fur is normally deepest black, no highlights, nothing... I took some liberties and it still looks unfinished. xD

Dude I LOVE the way you draw domestic cats! They're so sleek and long-legged and gorgeous! And the eyes are so gorgeous and shiny, too! And I LOVE the way you did that fallen pillar! Your rocks look so nice and dirty and.... well.. rocky xD. As an enigmatic totem spirit, is Lady Neko a good enigma, or a bad one? Probably the latter, though. Black cats rarely mean good things <___<

Mir reicht die bloΓe Info das sie im Prinzip schwarze Katzen sind. Ich hab nie sonderlich groΓ nach RL Bildern gesucht, von daher war das so ein teritΓ€res InfostΓΌck.
Aber im Moment bin ich WoD technisch sehr ruhig. Mein aktuelles RPG Steckenpferd ist Eclipse Phase. Da gibts Roboter und Pilzaliens.

Wouldn't fully black have brilliant white highlights, since the darker the color, the clearer the reflection? (Like a mirror, kind of.) Or is "deepest black" a term I don't know

They don't have too much life to lose, to begin with. They're basically only surviving because of their relation with some unpleasant powers. Just temporarily of course ... but that's been some 3000 years by now.

Yep, it's Werewolf The Apocalypse, which is in turn a part of the (old) World of Darkness system by White Wolf Publishing. It's classic pen and paper roleplay, but there are many online groups. ^^

Nuja, meine Meinung kennst du glaub ich schon, immerhin haben wir uns da ja zusammen mit einigen anderen schon beim Stream drΓΌber ausgelassen, wie furchtbar und grausam die Linien gesetzt sind, wie unnatΓΌrlich die Proportionen und dann erst diese sinnlos herumliegende SΓ€ule..

Und unfertig wirkt es auf mich ΓΌberhaupt nicht. Ich glaube, gerade da du Sephot als schwarzes Dingens neben eine Katze mit normalen Lichtreflexen gestellt hast, wirkt er nochmal extra dunkel und Licht absorbierend. Das ist dir wirklich toll gelungen.

Nice! I noticed the forked tail on Lady Neko, not always a good sign... And anything that's meant to be deepest black is always a pain, I hate having to paint black horses/wolves for Warhammer because they either end up looking grey, grizzled or like I haven't put any effort into them.
I did once have an albino Bubasti character because I thought being a white shadowcat would be funny. Unfortunately it just makes the effects of Banish Cahlash's Brood show up that much faster...

About the tail: oh, you're right. You have to be watchful around her, she's a bit too fond of dark secrets sometimes...

A bit too fond of dark secrets? Well, sounds like she makes a really good Bubasti totem then, since they're all a bit like that. (that's what makes them fun!) The albino character I had was actually Homid, with the reasoning that the Bubasti bloodline is pretty weak/inbred anyway and albinism does crop up in humans. But she did get constantly mistaken for a Metis which actually worked out to her advantage since she got to learn a few Metis gifts. Boy were those spirits pissed off later...
