I rushed this to a finish because I was running out of time.So mabe it will be corrected in the future, but not now.
Anyway! Piebald spotted leopard! Since I was a child I wondered what such a beast would look like. Of course with all the flashy white it couldn't survive in the wild for long, but I sort of like the design.
Not so happy with the cat itself, but I heart the tree trunk.
Slight references used for the pose.

Some of our group went there, I heared one song of them. Then we thought we might go and see Krypteria... .... they were so awful. x.x Big mistake. Should've stayed with Carcass.

Ok... that sucks, but atleast CARCASS will play alitel more then AT THE GATES that will end it all in stockholm... I hoping I can go there then.

I mean this picture looks like you've spent an awfuly amout of time and patience finishing it. Starting of with the very detailed tree, the perspective and of course the "Piebald spottet Leopard" itself. It just looks amazing.
Good work on the fur and the eyes, the really catch the viewers interest. And I love the shadows as well. There is nothing I could suggest for improving this picture for it looks impressive the way it is.

Yup, that tree bark certainly looks nice. How did you do that? And how long did it take you to create that effect?

Hm, I guess 2-3 hours. Since I was rather clueless I just started rought and then went through several steps of refining.
1 - blocked in large areas of reddish brown, grayish brown, yellow and blue
2 - drew broad dark lines and structures on it, really rough and messy
3 - refined dark areas with a very small structured brush
4 - added highlights with same brush on a separate layer
That's all...
