Description
Just cause I'm still in the slumps with drawing. I don't know if I'm burnt out with big drawings, or if it's just due to real life circumstances, but I find it difficult to even start drawing (I've been trying I promise).

So I thought to make another drawing dump just show I can show something to you guys. So I threw some unfinished pieces up there, and will go over what I had planned for it fjsjsksksks

1) Face Off

This was supposed to take place during Ishi in her teen years, after her Guard was set in stone. She and Wema don't get along. At all. Cause he wanted to be on the Guard, yeah real unique I know fjsjsksmsm

Nah I'm guessing at this point the affair between Kovu and Zuri is revealed, leading to Kiara distancing herself from both of em, and Tiifu presumably separating from Zuri. Wema of course isn't Kovu's son, but since his siblings (Ridhiki and now Asali) are clearly his Cubs, no doubt he is too. He's a technical Royal according to himself.

He's probably insinuating that he should lead the Guard, since Kovu so clearly wasn't happy with his first litter and had superior Cubs with Wema's mother instead. They should lead the Kingdom, since Ishi and Upendo is so weak (Upendo isn't the healthiest dude either, just sickly). Also the fact she followed her stupid Uncle's paw steps and couldn't get a single lion, no doubt she's gonna end up outside the Kingdom too.

Reason I gave up on this; I think it was the fact that I wasn't exactly sure how to draw Jadili (the hyena) nor Imbia quite yet, plus how stiff and awkward everyone looked to me. Plus I hadn't felt too happy including Yangu, cause I was considering whether to put him on the Guard or not.

He's not, the Strongest is gonna be a Gorilla, and if there's a wisest, it's gonna be something. Not Yangu.

Oh and that Cheetah is the daughter to Fuli (she returns to the Pride Lands when her kids were teens, she wanted them to at least know what the Pride Lands were like).

2) Bath Time

Nothing to go with this, I just wanted to show the opposite of Simba with Surak and his mother, Janna. I like to believe she's the reason he's got cowlicks, that or it's hereditary. Cause Baliyo also got cowlicks.

3) That's it?

"Oh yes, Askari I'm sure the Empress would very much enjoy a starved hare. Oh you absolute-"

"Silence."

I wanted to try drawing out Askari's Guard, gave up on that, but I had that guy (who is the Bravest, and Askari's adopted cousin), and I had drew a quick Askari with a rabbit. Not the best but eh

The guy there who I think named Moorkh, is also the ancestor to Zira, which that reason alone is the only reason her mother was betrothed to her father. Moorkh would be rolling in his grave though if he knew his descendant would be the mate to a Mbala lion.

But going on the Og idea, it was going to be the Guard, or the main figures in the Guard (Askari, Moorkh, Fastest, Keenest and Strongest), along with another Lion. They would be mocking this lion, though Askari would be trying to be neutral about it; cause this lion wanted instead of wars and battles, for their to be discussion and peace talks.

this lion would've been the wisest if he'd been in the Guard. I like to believe there's a wisest in each generation, though they were never recognized, and seen more of a friend of the Guard, or just made to leave once they're old enough. It will become a position eventually, whether Ishi's Guard or the Guard after her.

reason I gave up: I was just... so stuck on the Og idea, that I couldn't really get into this new version (it was still fine), but I couldn't figure out the other members, how they looked, where they were positioned. Also I have issues with finding colors, and Moorkh was giving me trouble (should I make him similar to Zira, or should I go Night Pride colors, or something more unique, it was killing me). Basically colors give me issues a lot of time fjsmsmsmms

4) Annoyance

This is the oldest one on there, and I have no idea what is going on, but it's Upendo and Ishi, Kiara and Kovu's first litter.

Upendo is the oldest obviously, and unfortunately passed away not long after this scene I imagine.

5) Starving Days

Vitani with her Guard during their youth. Zira had a rule that no one was allowed to eat until they were properly trained for the day, that is if they had any food, any food that wasn't given to Kovu.

She mainly focused on training the teens and young adults, which wasn't a lot, but she focused primarily on them. Unfortunately leaving the Cubs to just lounge around, but the rule still applied to them. Don't train, don't eat. Even more unfortunate was the Pride was usually exhausted when it got time to the Cubs, and since they're not important yet, it was more of "We'll train them tomorrow" and it was just never gotten to

I imagine their mothers would give them food, sneak it to them, but it was difficult to survive and try to raise Cubs. Maybe they lied some days to Zira and said they'd been trained, idk

Vitani noticed em and realized they haven't ate in a good bit, and she gives the Cubs her rationed food, and swears to train them, no matter how tired or hungry she is. Thus starting the bond with the group.

why I gave up on this: Vitani was either too old, or the Cubs were too young. There's a age difference between them, but it wasn't this extreme, and while I was happy with the Cubs, I couldn't force myself to redraw Vitani. I may come back to this one day, this one has the best chance of me returning to it. But Vitani is for sure changing so she doesn't look so old fjskskmssm

So yeah, that's basically it for now. There's a chance I may return to some of em, namely 5 and 3, but I wouldn't hold onto that chance. Maybe once I'm feeling better and less in the slumps.
