My father walks in with a cup of tea, and he is a bit more british than he should be. He comes up to my mother and pours hot tea all over her body. He turns to me, teapot in hand, and says "Son, why so British?!"

Hahaha, that's because that hand is mine. I took a webcam snapshot of it because I generally suck at drawing without any sort of reference.
Oooh, thank you! I'm glad you think I draw Bakura like the series. I tend to reference anime screenshots for him all the time, that's probably why.

well me too! i always use refs... for hands i almost always pose my own hand, the only problem with this... is sometimes it confuses me because my right is the person I'm drawing's left and so sometimes i put their hands on backwards LOL.
fanart is always kind of better when you use refs from the orig series, i think. refs are the way to go!!

But yeah, refs are much easier for fanart. Especially using refs from the series. Actually, now that I think of it, I don't think I've drawn anything original in a while. D:
