I like the torso piece, but the helm is diffidently impractical. Β Nice try though Β

The armour looks quite sturdy and elegant It would be quite the warrior in a D&D game!

I keep reading comments that say "this is not a failure" but...
This, while pretty, won't work for a moment. Look at the chin, if this suit is metal how are you going to move with that face mask running into that gorget on the neck? the metal collar created by the shoulder armour will also mean that when you raise your arm to swing, that shoulder part that stands so vertically, so close to the face, will run into the sides of the face. You need to angle them outward a few degrees, or shorten them. There is not only no separation between the greave and the cop (the Shin and the kneecap respectively) but you also extended the cuirass down past the groin. Metal doesn't move like cloth, how are you going to move your legs if your hips can't move?
This looks great. it's neat looking. it just can't move, all your joints are locked up. This is a study after all, but I would really recommend looking at real suits of armour.
I like your work, this picture is cool don't get me wrong, but if the study is in armour, study it again.

I think it looks pretty good. You can't say failure, especially when you have the materials to make it look like pretty much whatever you want. :3
Man, sometimes I envy digital artists and their ability to just ctrl+z a mistake instead of just yelling "FUCK!" and starting over.

A true failure is one that teaches you nothing. This is no failure its just an experience along the way XD.

failure? NO WAY!
this is still good... hey, if u dont like it could I use it (or use it as a base) for an armor design?
P.S. im currently trying to get my mini manga series started...

ahaha~ I love your description. Even the best artists sometimes feel that their stuff is fail...but I disagree and I like this.

My guess(es) about it being a failure:
The left leg is as long as the right leg even if it is in perspective (where the left leg should be shorter).
The right hand.
The portion of the armor below the belt, should be curved up a bit more.
Other than those, i love the the shoulder pads and helmet! Great piece all in all!

I love this armor design...
I agree the belt around the waist is a bit weird but the rest is awsome!

I see 2 problems, the first being that the body armor, it's bottom edge is kinda boring, and the belt doesn't look right, i think it needs to have a larger bending curvature as it progresses to the knight's right side.
But yeah, it don't see it as a failure, it's still very good, i wish i had a style that interesting.
And a no-frills standing pose is beyond me, i can't draw something that static, idk why...

It's a bit lop-sided, which I can see is why you called it a failure, but the design on the armour is amazing well done.
I say good work, and thank god it's a study!

all of it is good, but i dont think that all the pieces of armor belong together..make sense? the helmet is my favorite by far!! very well done, and i like the unique style!
the belt is whatev, seeing as thats everyone's favorite comment topic. i think its out of place in this piece, but it looks nice
