Description
Hey, companies, pay artists who make the art you illegally feed to your (monetised)AI systems royalties, then, like it happens in the music industry. What's the deal with stealing copyrighted material, huh? I see right through your selfish motives.
As things are handled currently, I stand by my opinion - get AI "art" out of my face.
I am not a popular artist and I know this won't really be seen anywhere, but I need this to be in my gallery, and it'll stay here until legislations will be confirmed all over the world in protection and respect of Visual Artists' copyrights of their work, and companies will no longer be able to prey on other people's hard work without paying a dime for it.
If you want to use other people's copyrighted work in your AI systems - then
1) ask for their consent to be included in your databases (with explicit and unambiguous consent given, not a tick of a box that YOU ticked without the artist so much as knowing about it.)
2) every AI you already trained on stolen material MUST BE PURGED and retrained using only material artists explicitly allowed to be used for the purposes of training AI.
3) you pay the artists who consented for this use of their work. End of story.
Once at least that happens, and in the morally-right new reality we'll live in, I'll see what I think of AI "art", then.
