The Drown Child and The Traveler tarot cards are ones which are twined together. It's said drawing both from your deck at a single time grants luck to whomever has them in their hands. However, one without the other renders the cards useless. While old, these cards are in pristine condition considering the circumstances they've been through; Lost at sea and vulnerable to the tides, coming through un-phased by a wildfire, and managing through the hands of many wary travelers, being pawned off for mere scraps. From their original deck, these two stand among the only which have prevailed, others having been replaces years ago by crisper, flashier cards.
The Drown Child; It is associated with a message, earth, a disagreement, a case of mistaken identity, and a death. Inverted, it represents a reversal of fortune, pessimism, love, dexterity, and rejuvenation
The Traveler; It is associated with a journey, resilience, and a promise. Inverted it represents grief, fire, and a surrender.
