“What could have caused the outer door to open?” asked Trigger.
“Criminal mechanical failure…but somehow I do not think so.” said AK-4211.
“Do you mean...?” Trigger did not finish.
It was then that Sketcher noticed something unusual in a corner of the airlock where some of the cleaning agent spray had dispersed as the bucket had dropped some of the cleaning agent. The drops were hanging in the air as though stuck to something invisible…almost like a boot!
