Me too. Maybe he laid low & assembled his team to fight Juno for example. In general with the death of Desmond, game lost part of it charm. He was a key character & he's suddenly gone.

I hate that bitch (pardon my language) . I really hope. You're right. Still most think it's a good thing he 'died' . To make place for something new. For 4 games after his death we played as ourself in the modern-time partsbof the game. It was nice and all but I miss Desmond.

In fact, Desmond was the main character of the game. Altair, Ezio, Ratonhnhaketon & etc it's just only his memories, we played exactly for him. He was the linchpin of all events. And now we don't know who main character. I very hope that Desmond will be back. I don't think that his death was the correct decision by the developers. In vain they did so. As Desmond himself has said "This is my story" & that is why needed to continue his history.

It's still his story. It all started with him. Only him. First assassin: Altaïr. Ancestor of Desmond. Second: Ezio ancestor of Desmond. He has 4 assassin ancestors (one became a templar) the others are who?? Shay, Arno, the Frye twin?? Who is the defendant of them. Is it one person or many??
Side note: there is a character in Syndicate called Desmond. Is not the same and in got angry at it.

Well, Desmond has more than 4 ancestors. Altair, his wife Maria & son Darim, as well as his father Umar. It's already 4 ancestors. And if we take into this list the others & their relatives it will be long list. In short, almost all the characters from the past in this game it's ancestors of Desmond. It's his story & how it was possible to kill the main narrator? I really don't understand it.
In Syndicate has some character named Desmond? Really? I don't play full this game yet & so I didn't know about it.

Yeah. It will be a long list. In fact. I think the whole brotherhood started with someone a D Desmond is the descendent of it. So the whole brotherhood, every single assassin is property of Desmond Miles, if you put it in a big perspective. But Abstergo and the assassins had needed only some of his memories. And those are the ones we see if we play the games.

Clay is a ancestor of Ezio. Desmond & Clay are distant relatives. Only I wonder why then Clay looks like a Darim (Altair's son from Revelations)? This oddity from developers.
By the way, yesterday I finally finished to play AC Syndicate & I saw that character named Desmond. Dog? Seriously?

Yeah, I remember that moment. Shaun didn't like him a bit earlier & I was struck by his candor, how he praised him. It was the only moment in Syndicate that touched me.

yeah, i remember it well how he act towards Desmond in the beginning of AC 2 and how he changed in Syndicate. i think, Shaun cared aboput him from the very beginning. you know how hard it is to fight against the Templars. Mordern and historical. He was cocky, but he is a nice guy. second fav modern assassin

Yeah, probably. Shaun is cool character too. I like him because he's cheerful. But I don't like Desmond's father. He rudely treated him. And it seems even his scar on Desmond's lip because of trainings. Or maybe his father was overdone & leave this scar to him. I understand that he wanted to protect & prepare Desmond for war with templars, but still it's his son & he could better treated to him.

I talked about that Desmond was going to sacrifice himself and his father didn't take measures to prevent it. He didn't hugged him goodbye, he didn't even said "goodbye". One gets the impression that he doesn't care about his son. I also said that if William could take his son's body from the temple, perhaps he'd have used Desmond's memory again to find artifacts that templars are looking for. He instead of treated his son, he used his memory when he was in a coma.

You're right. I was pretty angry when William didn't tried to get his sin out of coma and used his memories instead. I know this was is big war and won't end any time soon but the doesn't mean you uses your son?! Truth to be told Desmond is the only one with those memories since the person before him died and his mind wanders the black void of the animius for eternity. But Desmond is a living person goddammit (pardon my language) and not a subject. In the end William isn't any better than Vidic.

apparently she runs a farm where she trains new recruits and thats where Desmond ran away from, months (or years) before he got captured by Abstergo. I read that somewhere. I was looking for a name, because i wanted to mention her in a story i'm writing, but couldn't find it anywhere
i even found a family tree here on dA and on the place where his mother is, is written unknown. we don't know who she is.
