Though I have not been able to experience too much of Nights of Azure, I am a total, total fan of something Gust games do for their female characters. It's a little something I call the, "They're Totally Into Each Other, but Because of Reasons, We Can't Say It that Way" Syndrome.
It happened in Atelier Sophie and it has happened here as well. I have no complaints, but I'm always going "Oooooohhhhh" when I see these friendships blossom. Be as platonic as you want, but deep down in the recesses of my technicolor heart, they're totally into each other, but because of reasons, they can't say it that way. >_O
