Now that I think about it Ms Fortune follows a certain character build.

During the late 90s there was a anime series called Outlaw Star. One of the main characters was Aisha ClanClan, a wild, dark-skinned, light-haired catgirl. Now Taokaka and Ms Fortune follow her physically and personality-wise too.

Taokaka also has Hsien-ko from Darkstalkers as a "parent".
