I agree.  Why do they have to go and mess up the ambiance of such a wonderful sight?  Probably safety or some other nonsense.

I think those lights were just out-dated, they were changed a long time back.  Also, newer technology lamps use less energy to operate .

Interesting contrast. Even when I am looking at the city skylines, my eye still notices the bright colors of the bridge. On the one hand, I find that a bit frustrating, on the other hand, I do love the color nuance you have chosen for the bridge; such lovely orange and red!
