Description
Lawful Good: Dipper. Not consistently, but he usually tries to play by the rules until circumstances forces him to by-laws.Neutral Good: Mabel. Her spontaneous nature often leads her to break or ignore the rules more easily than Dipper.
Chaotic Good: Wendy. It was established in “The Inconvenienceing” that she’s a free spirit who usually does whatever she pleases, and has little respect for authority figures.
Lawful Neutral: Soos. He’s a fun guy to be around when he loose up a little. But while Wendy doesn’t really respect any authority figure, Soos respects every authority figure, maybe more than he should.
True Neutral: Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland. These guys simply don’t want to get involved. Which can be a real problem since they’re supposed to be the police, but there you go.
Chaotic Neutral: Grunkle Stan. An obvious choice for this alignment. You never know where you have Stan. He’s miser and a con-man who’s mostly only in it for himself, but he’s also capable of showing some love and concern, at least for the twins.
Lawful Evil: Ma and Pa of the old abandoned convenience store. They inflict hellish punishments on people who intrude on their store. But at least they follow certain rules – They would never torment anyone who’s technically a child, only teenagers. And they’re willing to negotiate.
Neutral Evil: Li’l Gideon: Like Grunkle Stan, Gideon is only in it for himself, but he’s far more manic and power-hungry.
Chaotic Evil: The cursed wax figures. They don’t seem to have any other plan than to kill whoever might stand in their way, adult or children.

The world needs more good alignment charts with good explanations. And who doesn't love Gravity Falls?

Yes, this one wrote itself after half a dozen episodes or so

Interesting.
I'm glad you placed in your reasoning behind each character and category.

Honestly, I think it's a bad idea to try the align the characters this early on... seeing as they all have their own secrets. And there are probably better, more-fitting characters for these alignments.

Actually, with the first season just finsihed, I haven't found many reasons to change the alignement chart yet. The only change I would've made at this point, is to replace Ma and Pa with Bill Cipher as "Lawful Evil".

pretty good, but no offense I would think Mabel and Wendy would be better as Chaotic and Neutral good, respectively instead of the other way around.

Thanks for the input, and I understand why you might think so. But I still think my classifications make more sense. Mabel may have a more chaotic personality, but she's also more likely to follow given rules than Wendy.

None so far. Gideon makes an appearance in "Irrational Treasure", but it's a brief one.

he's the main antagonist in "Little Dipper" but that was left off as a cliff-hanger as well. I'm watching that very episode right now

It's on Disney Channel, but not in Europe yet. However, the episodes are fairly easy to find online.
You should give Gravity Falls a try. I don't know if your thing, but I think so. It's quite dark, and at the same time humorous and quirky.

I searched a bit. You know I like things more or less dark, and i found it funny too.
When i know more, I'll tell you my opinion more developed.
