1. Zoom way out and block in what your eyes roughly see.
2. Put some brush strokes in enough to tell what's what.
3. Lay a perspective grid that reverse-engineered from a reference photo to get each part in correct positions.
4. Render in from further away to closer. I started from his left arm and ended with corner of his right arm the last, as it was closest to a viewer.
5. Paint in such fashion from top to bottom.
6. Add in some highlights and few details and a shadow.
