Hey guys! Remember this cutie?While I am no longer in Pokemonation, I have not forgot about this guy. Yesterday someone asked me about fakemons in tumblr and I wanted to draw this guy again.
So yeah, my bug type eeveelution! I got some great name suggestions at tumblr. Lepideon was suggested a few times and I really like the name. It comes from the word "lepidoptera" that's a large order of insects that include moths and butterflies.
The design is based on luna moth.
Lepideon belongs to me! And Nintendo if they ever wanted to make this real lol
Edit: Okay! I was pretty happy with the antennae design so I edited this version. (and compound eyes that I completely forgot the first time) I think they are keepers. ;D

What a fluffy buggy
Looks like it'd be the biggest eeveelution in size.
The ears look so elegant~ imagine if it'd be able to fly with those ears and in spite of it's hugeness.
It'd be like a dragon-fly bunny or a flying elephant!

I'm really not into the whole Fakemon craze, but I really like your Lepideon's design. Just like the canon Eeveelutions, it's cute without being sickeningly cute.

I think it needs atleast one other bug like part other than the butterfly wing ears, like maybe two long hairs that are like antennae that grow out of the eyebrow spots like the long eyebrow whiskers that some cats have, since it still looks more mammal than bug, but thaw an opinion.

The tail is based on the antennas moths have. And the ears are the main part of this design and I feel anything else on the facial area would rival with the attention.

Ah but the tail isn't too obvious, also it looks mor like the tail the first bird had, can't remember the name... Archaeopteryx, that's the name, their feathered reptile tail had feathers that gemrew like that

Eeh, I REALLY don't see it as a feather tail. But, maybe I failed with the presentation.
But like I said, last thing I want to do is add something to the facial area. I want to keep it simple for a reason.

Yeah ok, I was just saying, since when you see antennae you instantly think "bug" anyway it wouldn't have to be thick , they could be then ones that start from the eyebrow area and starts curling back behind it's head, it might supply what could be missing and not look like you added too much to the face

Ooh! Very nice. Bug is one of those types that's a bit weird for an Eeveelution (since, you know, Eevee appears Mammalian), but I really love this design. Also, A+ for the name.
