<< Pages 21-22 ll First Pages ll Pages 25-26 >>Veruka and Rupert hurry to Vincent's rescue but Danny and Merry surprise them. Thankfully they forgot about Rupert's dry skin ability.Β

I thought Rupert must have the dry skin ability when I saw he was sweating. Plus it's the obvious choice for a Toxicroak's ability. Sunny Day does damage and Fire attacks do a bit more damage, but heal in rain and water attacks heal instead of doing damage, so it's definitely a good trade.

Washer machines aren't very menacing, but in this case it's pretty terrifying...

Hey ya Tammy!
On page 23, in that second panel, Veruka's looking much more furious about what happened, a visual reminder of how angry she was earlier in the comic. And putting "I swear..." amplifies how she's feeling right now. In other words, the words are appropriate.
I see there's people talking about the ending panels about Rupert using "Cross Chop". Personally, it's smart of Rupert to destroy the machine so Merry can't be in possession of it (at least a proper, well-functioning machine at the moment). But I could see fragments of theΒ washing machine flying all over the place and Danny and Merry could still get hit by attacks. So it'd logically still make sense for them to dodge the attacks.Β
Also, because Danny and Merry are wild Pokemon, I can them being unaware of theirΒ LevitationΒ abilities.
Keep it on up! ;D

XD nah, its all good, I just noticed a lot of people seem to be pointing out a fact that is in fact false with the context of the comic rather than giving it a deeper look or just enjoying the comic itself.Β

First they stole a precious artifact. Then, they act as jerks, hurt others and pretend they are the best around. Even if this is only a comic, this kind of behavior really make my blood boil. I hope they'll have what they deserve. Both of them.

AAAAAAAAW YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAH GO RUPERT YOU AWESOME FROG, YOU
(Guys, c'mon, please stop giving Rupert heck for supposedly using Cross Chop on Ghost-types. Please keep in mind that Wash Rotom turns into Water-Electric, not part Ghost, and Rupert was very clearly aiming for the washing machine. So Rupert did a good job, don't bash him! I doubt Tamarin appreciates getting the same dumb comment over and over! D: )

(Haha! It's ok. When you do pokemon stuff, first thing you ALWAYS need to be prepared for is that there will always be people who try to act like they are smarter at pokemon and think comics should work like the games. X))

(Ah, I guess you're right. I just find it a bit annoying after a while, especially when people just focus on mistakes that aren't even actually there when you could focus on the actual story. (Which is spectacular, by the way) Sorry for my rambling. XD)

ah Dry Skin, that explains why Rupert's panicking in the first panel & sweating so much
they should get out of the supply room before Merry possesses something else.. like a FAN! O:

This is so badass. I love how Rupert's Dry Skin seems to cause him discomfort around fire, that's a very nice detail. The washing machine is destroyed, but there are still plenty of appliances in the storage room. Unless they're all unusable now because of the fire and water damage, I dunno. Nevertheless, the Fighting Trio really need to pull themselves together if they're going to turn this around. Only Rupert still has full health.
