Description
Art byPrincess Celestia and Princess Luna taking time to unwind at the spa but the spa ponies accidentally switched the hair coloring. This partially explains why Princess Celestia's mane changed from pink to rainbow color and Princess Luna's mane changed from light azure to sparkling cobalt blue.
And like before, nobody gets send to the moon over this mix up.

If Luna looked more majestic and apply a face mask or something to get rid of her eye bags, then don some flowy silk dress, she wouldn't look that bad in Celestia's hair.

Still doesn't explain the color,though. They just switched their hairs. They can always swap it back. -.-
Its probably because of aging. When Luna was several hundred years younger her hair was light azure. Then she grew a bit,and her hair was now flowy sparkling blue.
I suppose the hair changes because of their roles. Cadance and Twilight don't do a lot,Cadance just has a whole empire to herself and Twilight smiles and waves,while the sisters control the sun and moon,which means they have the power to burn and smash Equestria to smithereens if they wanted.
It's the same with Celestia,her hair was solid and pink when Luna got light azure hair.Β
