Art bySince some people suggested that the solution to Princess Cadence and Princess Twilight's squabble over Shining Armor is the Magic Mirror Pond, here is what I think would happen if Shining Armor went with that option. The last part of the Princess Fight saga.

I know it's supposed to be a reference to the magic pond episode, but I can't help but be reminded of the 12th chapter of the horror manga Franken Fran [link] . It had the exact same cloning solution to the problem of sharing a person between two people, and practically the same conflict that arose of making a clone that still isn't willing to compromise even though the situation now provides itself one. There are several differences between this and the manga such as the one being cloned in the manga being a girl and the ones fighting over her are two guys, but I really can't help but see the similarities even though there are probably other clone scenarios that go this way. Hopefully, the similarities I see only end at the original and the clone fighting each other....
Other than that, great comic.

I think I liked it better when your comics with Shining Armor were much sweeter and actually reflected his and Shining Armor's relationship. Like the one you commissioned to Veggie55 shortly after "Canterlot Wedding" aired.

I've replied to the second person that replied to me respectively, explaining my train of thought. I wasn't going to copy-paste, which I admit as being my fault.

It wasn't a cloning pool. It was a gateway to other mirror dimensions.
Arguments:
1 In the respective episode, at first - the very FIRTS time Pinkie spoke the chant, a clone didn't just magically appear from the pool... SHE went INSIDE the pool!
2 It was also apparent when Fluttershy (I'm pretty sure it was Fluttershy) was confused when Pinkie mentioned Applejack... Turns out they were all in fact referring to her as Applesack or something... So there's one of the small differences you encounter when traveling in-between dimensions.
3 All the other Pinkies weren't just blatant copies or 2D remakes of the "original"... Again, if you'd be a little more attentive, you might notice that they all have some pretty decent personalities.
Also... (if you were attentive so far, you might've deduced this as well) turns out the first one that went through, the really concerned version of Pinkie... that version was the one who wanted to stay with her friends the most. Little did she know that she wasn't really in her original dimension to begin with.
Meh, it's not like we were guaranteed that Twilight's spell was going to place her in the right dimension anyway. Who knows where the other Pinkies wounded up.
