Here's #26 of my 100 scary stories based on Japanese mythology and folkloreIn this one, Captain Haddock gets up to have a midnight snake and drink, but finds that the kitchen is being invaded by a couple of hungry ghosts
Although hungry ghosts are thought to be more from Chinese lore, Japan also has legends about hungry ghosts, as well as many other parts of east Aisa, and they all share the generally same description
