Darkness, what am I without you...
Toboe, Tsume, Kiba, Hige - Drawing the Wolf's Rain characters together with Tani was kind of a commission for myself.
I have a large poster of that picture hanging over my bed now. The picture is based on a dream I recently had of Wolf's Rain, and me being one of them, which was incredibly realistic.I am not too content with Kiba, but at least I like how Hige and Toboe turned out.
There's no reason why Blue isn't in there, I just came to the episodes with Blue after I finished the picture. Really, I haven't eaten her.
I'm sorry for the watermarks - I usually hate that, but as this picture means a lot to me, I don't want to see it being used by those kiddies who think all the art on the internet is for free.

This is great. I love the way you've drawn them. My only comment would be that Tsume looks a tad feline, with his paws tucked in like that, but he looks awesome nonetheless. I really like your fur detail and the shading. The poses you have them in fit them very well! Also, this doesn't seem to have gotten much attention, but I really like the background. The moon looks great, and I super love the clouds! All in all, I love this!

When you make your line art do you use black or a hue of grey?

I usually use black for drawing the outlines. Sometimes I color them later (digitally), like in this picture.

If I may ask, how did you deside what colors to make the outline when you didn't use black? alot of people say use the darkest shadow of the animals pelt, but that doesn't really help me... You have any advise?
