Description
As promised the first variant of the Kangaroo APC is the Rattler Medium High Mobility Self Propelled Gun. It sports a 130mm artillery piece with a .338 machine gun in a remote weapons station for close in defense. The idea and concept was taken from a prototype italian vehicle called the porcupine except it carried a 155mm gun.

So why the down grade? The simple fact of smaller ammo = greater capacity for carried rounds in the vehicle itself with out needing to be restocked with ammo. The wheeled chassis over a tracked one was chosen for a multitude of reasons such as ease of maintance as well as greater mobility and lighter weight. Key factors in the Rhamosian tactical doctrine.
