Description So I just downloaded the recent update to blender 2.80 and I just wanted to tell my experience.

Modeling:
It was annoying but later on I did enjoy and got use to it. All of the keyboard short cut keys were changed, but not all that I need. There were a few things I found interesting.

1. Smooth shading. I found that pressing "W" then clicking "smooth shading" worked.
2. Selecting multiple objects. I found an option in my 3D viewport an option to toggle something called, "one at a time," I think.
3. Selecting and deselecting. So now they made it to were if you press "A" you select all the objects in the scene but if you press "A" again they won't deselect, I found that pressing"ALT+A" works.

Lighting:
I'm pretty good with lighting, but I did noticed that the lights' intensity it set to max by default (though you could still go higher). I also noticed that there is an option called, "Contact Shadows," that option is a MUST.

Materials:
I didn't want to use image textures, so I decided to use blender's textures, and it's SO amazing to see my materials update in real-time. Also, the material editor has been changed to, "Shader Editor."

Rendering:
Rendering was FAST! It took my under a minute to render one frame so similar to cycles which would take more then two!

Extra:
The GUI looks COMPLETELY different. Though others said that they didn't like it, I personally love the art style. Also, the default has been changed to a nice dark theme with a few bright colors showing here and there.

My Workflow:
My workflow was VERY smooth, despite the whole modeling part. Because I downloaded the most recent update of blender 2.80 I experienced ZERO CRASHES, but I do still recommend actively saving though. I would watch a few eevee videos before importing models. I stayed in the the rendered view while modeling. I found it annoying to search for certain icons but It's no big deal.

Final thoughts:
I wouldn't use it to model, but I would REALLY recommend porting your models to eevee. You can render animations, which I made a few. Working on this model was pretty fun and interesting, and I think I would preferred the results from eevee instead of cycles. I also really want people to try this as a modeling and a rendering software and hear they're thoughts on their workflow. I hate to do this, but I think I'm gonna tag a few people, just to hear they're workflow and what they think of the changes.
