Description I made this using Satania's excellent tutorial [link]

Tutorial review: This tutorial is very well written, short, useful, and for the most part tells exactly how to make awesome splits elliptics. Excellent job Satania!

It has two confusing bits:
1. Xform 3: xform 3, it says "Now click on post transform and move it up and resize them with a ratio of 1: 3." I decided that those instructions should read:
Now click on xform 3's post transform. Go to the triangle tab. You will see an X with two boxes next to it. In the first box, replace the 1 with .33. This will resize your post transform to have a ratio of 3:1. In the same tab, now scale it down by 200 using the small scale button and move it up 1.5 units using the up arrow move button.

2. xform 4: Xform 4 says "Just fix the post transform coordinates." You're supposed to look at the screenshot besides these instructions and use that to know that the post transform of xform four should be positioned at (0, -1.5).

All in all, a very useful and fun tutorial!

Marvelous work!! And many thanks for suggestion. I suggest tha in the tutorial there's another little "bug": he didn't wrote, for the xform 3 and 4: Linear3D to "0". I tryed to realize but I've seen almost nothing. Then I supposed to set Lineard3D to "0" value and....TADAAAA!!

Beautiful glow and colors!
Try changing the render settings to filter = 4 and oversample =2 and key in a quality of 6-10K rather than using the drop down menu values. Straight lines and some arcs that don't run parallel to the X or Y axis are prone to pixel-stepping (jaggies). This will increase the render time but at a resolution of 600 x 600 it will be minor. I've yet to see rendering advice in a "style" tutorial.
This is most worthy of a high resolution render.
