Description Some nefarious agents of RANGSI's part-secret police, part-political court and part-state cult, the Internal Security Command (INSECOM) of the Vanguard Council.

The military fights to defend the borders, and the police fights to defend order and peace. INSECOM however, fights for the very soul of the nation, engaged in a never-ending battle in the shadows against enemies both foreign and domestic. Such a shadow war requires forces that can operate with extreme discretion...and a certain willingness to sideskirt laws and morals in order to expedite desired outcomes.

1. Mazazel Shadows (MS)
An elite paramilitary black ops unit made up of underage orphans of civil conflicts. These young operatives are given cybernetic and biological enhancements that turn them into what could be described as superhuman ninjas, with superhuman reflexes, speed and agility. MS units operate in tightly knit squads of threes and are deployed to shadow and assassinate high-value domestic threats to the nation-state; dissidents, rebels, insurgents, enemy spies and treasonous governors. Given that their enhancements are derived from Mazazel's N-gene, MS operatives consider themselves as the true successors to the Icon of Vengeance himself.

2. INSECOM Asymmetric Security Operative (ASO)
The bread-and-butter of INSECOM's black ops forces. ASOs are the main force of any INSECOM operations and they are tasked with a wide variety of roles, ranging from intelligence-gathering to direct action and 'wetwork'. To maintain maximum plausibility, they often deliberately use foreign-sourced gear as much as possible and wear fake patches and insignia with alien languages to throw off anyone attempting to investigate their true origins.

3. VSCP Ideologian
Not every commander in INSECOM is a walking loudspeaker known as the commissar. Ideologians are promoted from the rank-and-file of INSECOM's many black ops units to become the 'brains' of their strategic-level operations, turning into high-ranking officers in charge of various psyops and major special operations of special interest to even the Vanguard Council at the top themselves. They are one of the very few who can rival and challenge a commissar's authority regardless of their warrant. However, their scholarly devotion to Singaporean ideology and their morally questionable career experience as black ops soldiers often combine to produce extremely twisted statist ideological beliefs that border on the line of psuedoreligious fanaticism...and on the line of insanity itself. Officially their eye-masks are to conceal their identities to the public, but truthfully such anonymity is not really for their own security, but rather to enable them to get away with anything they say to people, no matter how crazy it is.

4. Pyzon Corps Monk-Commissar
Monk-commissars continue their duties as political officers ensuring the morale and loyalty of military units, but are much more effective their role thanks to their psionic powers which allow them to telepathically remove fear and hesitation, and inspire courage in combat. Other than fighting together with the troops, monk-commissars have also begun to perform an important role as their unit's chaplains and help to administrate various religious rituals in the faiths that they are qualified to provide instruction for, especially those pertaining to funerals for fallen soldiers.
