This demo features TWO awesome stages!!
(Stage 2 has no BG, but will soon)

haha! This is really fun work. You did his moves so well and remembered lots of his old ND game moves, awesome! I enjoy so much playing this.
I get so mad on lvl1 when I first tried the lvl. There were creates who were stadning up as stears, but I missed on the last one, and coudln't reach it! XD That it's just a challenge that appears in Crash B. 1,2,3,Bash, TC etc. etc.
You did great on the sound effects when the character hits,spins,destorys and jumps. And the fun thing he's breathing if one are standing still. THe creates,apples and the life icon (crash head) are so cool ^^
The bonus were just awesome in lvl 1. Cool did how he's dissapearing and appears somewhere else in a Bonus. Great work with the letter's coming and going! Just in the real game. Hidden crates, as those two life boxes, are so great that you added in a "secret" spot. The creat counter helps to see if one gets every crate in the game. And when he dies, he becomes an angel, how cute, my favourite. Hm, al that bothers me is those creates!! AAgh,! lol, my jumpin suck and I can't reach it, but that's just something i'll have to do over again to use the other creates to reach it. Nice did with the bonus and hidden areas, you did a lovly job. *still playing*

sometimes you can stand on a NITROm crate for almost 20 seconds w/out a KABLOOIE

Dash is in the game, just as a powerup, crouching with a hitbox i think i can fix
, thanks for the idea, the gems/crystals thing is coming along, and the crystals + gems wont be avbailable after you have them

You know it's cool, so I shall skip the praises and move onto the critique.

First off, when you've let go of crouching, there should be a quick hittest of the area above Crash to check whether he should come up before he does come up and has to go down again.
Then, the way Crash acts when coming back from a level should be different depending on whether he got neither, either, or both gems, and they should also only be available in the level if they haven't been got before.

And where did dash go? Are you scrapping that completely?

Finally, the menu and loading screen is currently the worst bit of design here, it'd be good to see a bit of work done on those before the next update. All the gameplay stuff looks great

Hmm, would you want me to do a drawing for the menu screen or something? This is coming out great so you just have to ask.

Ok, this is a DEMO!!!!!!! its not finished ¬¬

quality button is added in the new version (not yet released) and so has level 5. 51st Crate has 51 boxes, and the beginings of a background. Chain reactions and nitros have been fixed along with the lag, shadow under crash is impossible as far as i know, which is a bit annoying... i don't know about the rest....

TO get the gem in stage 1, bounce up the row of boxes in the bonus stage to find two hidden ones!

No-one seemed to find any problem getting the gem on level 2, maybe you forgot to check out the 2nd route that goes under the level.

Heh, i've had every Crash since the PS1. Although i never thought of making a tribute, weird :S.

Anyway, it looks pretty decent, the gameplay is nice, although a quality button wouldn't hurt .

I like the game menu (Like in Crash 3), abut i think the start load/new game screen could be improved, if you want, i'll give it a shot, no credit needed.

Anyway, looks great Taro, one of the best tributes to the series .

*The load save thing isn't done.
*Boxes won't stop chain reacting after you die.
*No background on stage 2.
*Serious lag issues.
*Crystal & gem reappear in stages.
*Shadow under Crash?
*There are 50 crates in the 51st crate.
*Nitros don't actually kill you unless you really try.
*Body slam doesn't break multi bounce boxes.
*Allow quality toggling.

That's it I guess.

really fun, you did a great job on the programming, no doubt about it. But the graphics need a little work (aside from the fact that it's on low quality.) The animation is fine, but the actual drawings need a bit of work. Also, how do you get the load/save thing to work? Is it not done yet, or am I just stupid?

Very nice indeed!

One thing is that I would include a quality button seeing as 'low' is the default setting and you can't manually re-do it.
