Description
It had been days since they had been able to lay eyes on one another, the two lovers yearned and ached. My love, I miss you. I wish you were to be here.
It was hard being star crossed lovers, Jayce sitting out in his garden, gazing up into the sky while his lover gazed down at him from her place in the Moon. Ordinarily, they would be seeing one another right about now, but they had to bide their time. Things were growing. Things they wished not for others to find out about. Their love.
Heaving a sigh, he pulled himself from his seat. Now heading towards the barn, that was his only solace, as he knew that anywhere else would cause alarms to go off.
"Life is never fair," he told his horse, Cade, as though he were actually listening, "I love her. And I am aching." but he dared not do anything about it. Not yet.
Being a lover of a forbidden, what could he do?
It was either see her and get them both in trouble and possibly killed for the Moon queen surely would kill Jayce for 'corrupting' her daughter. Then there was the prideful Earth king who would kill anyone if he so desired.
The bastard.
Things were just growing tighter. More than ever, they wanted to be with one another. That was all they could wish for.
Cade nudged his master, as if he understood, looking at him with those doleful brown eyes. Almost as though he could feel Jayce's pain, empathize a little. Knowing that wasn't true, he just gave his horse a pat. Turning to look out the door of the barn, he could see the glow of the Moon. What he wouldn't give to collect that glow in a bottle and save it for a night like this.
The epitome of a long distance relationship, and the hurt of one as well. Why was love so hard?
My dearest love, I shall see you soon, for I cannot bear too much longer without feeling your love. I love you.
