After the incident in District 9, the CO of STB wrote a AAR (After Action Report) regard Azula's role. Although she performed her admirably and was nearly killed by a rioter's gun, he wrote, she belongs to a unit that has as much firepower that she herself contains. He also added that she would continue to be looked after by a military doctor, especially in light of her, "spacing out". After the file was received by the powers that be, it was decided that perhaps 31B: MP, was not the best MOS for Azula and begin to look for a new unit and MOS that they felt fetter suited the Fire Princess.

The room was almost bare except for the duffel bags close to the door. Azula had just finished packing and was chatting with 3rd Brigade's A.I., Lucy on the room's PC.

Leaning on the door, Azula asked, "Is it common to to moved from one unit to another?"

"Fairly common," replied Lucy, "Don't think of it as a punishment. You present a very...unique...issue with your commanders. They are still trying to find the best unit for you. They placed you in one unit to see how you react in the field of battle. But I doubt that they expected you to stay there since there are other units in the brigade that are closer to the front then the STB."

"And I'll be doing what in which unit?" asked Azula.

"Your new unit is 3rd squadron, 7th calvary regiment," answered Lucy, "Also know as 'los pistoleros'. They have you down as a Calvary Scout. What that means is that they can have you doing just about anything relating to their vehicles, from observation to maintenance."

"Somehow, I doubt that I'll be send me to an observation post," said Azula

"As do I," said Lucy, "This change of rooms won't affect our schedule. I expect to see you tomorrow at 1400."

Azula let out a sour chuckle. "Do you always spend this much time with lowly privates?"

Lucy smiled. "Just the ones that need it.".

"Hmph...so you say," answered Azula. Looking at her watch, she says "I think I'm ready."

"See you soon," said Lucy as Azula grabbed her bags, "Remember, 1400 tomorrow."

Azula waved back and went to the van stop that shuttled troops from one base to another. A green van pulled up and picked her up. She got off at the 3-7 barracks and went straight to the Charge of Quarters (CQ) desk.

"Here's your key to your room, second floor, room 2-14," said the NCO on duty, "Welcome to the Calvary."
