Dachshunds are and have always been my favorite dogs...chocolate ones especially, though I've never had that color myself!
He's so cute, I wish I could cuddle (he probably wouldn't enjoy that, though, if he has the temper that mine do)...

That is adorable! Especially the close up of him looking at you. He's a handsome feller!
Our dachshunds like to wade to cool off their bellies (being so low to the hot ground in the summer I suppose) but they are never much on swimming without touching bottom! We're sure to lifeguard them when they do take a dive off the boat!
