Description
I felt like drawing a snake and since I drew the snake to show my lil' sis, I decided that it had to be of good quality, even though it's not a real species. I drew the rabbit to include my older sister, since it's her Chinese zodiac year. The rabbit is even more clearly not a real species as it looks like a blend of a rabbit, a chinchilla and... I don't know what else.
The Hànzì (Chinese characters)/ Kanji mean "snake" and "rabbit." In actuality, I found drawing the rabbit's Hànzì character more difficult than even drawing the actual snake. I don't know how that happened, since I have no problem writing it with a pencil, or a brush.
The snake's belly scales and the rabbit's coat and feet are unrealistic. I may not have have the scan settings right because I think I shaded the fur more than it looks like it's shaded.

You know, I always see this in your gallery but I never really stopped to look at it in-depth. I'm not sure how passionate you are about drawing, but I can see that you'd do VERY well at it, if even you just did it as a hobby, and I'm not just saying that, I swear on everything I've ever loved. xD If it's not your thing of course, don't worry about it (like don't let me make you feel pressured to do more of something you're not into just because I like it!), but I wouldn't mind seeing more animal art from you.
